Technical blog for lovers of Android apps & code

'Uncategorized' Category

Check out all the hottest apps for android at The Droid Demos! thedroiddemos.com I’ve received a lot of inquiries about how I’ve gotten my phone to look like it does, or more specifically, how to make Android look like an iPhone. Through the use of ADW Launcher and an app called BetterCut, I’ve been able to replicate the icons and dock. With this tutorial, you too can learn how to get that iPhone dock and those iPhone icons in Android to have the feel of iOS. Be sure to throw some widgets in there, though. We don’t want you feeling the pull to convert App & Icon downloads at: bit.ly

Posted by admin On September - 5 - 201025 COMMENTS

My first application made for Android. This one lets you connect a Wii controller with Android and then use it to play games. This is still Alpha so it may or may not work on your Android device. The app is published here: android.ccpcreations.com (now 0.3 Beta)

Here is the video version of the more detailed tutorial I wrote available at alldroid.org It outlines how to update your rooted Droid X from Eclair 2.1 to Froyo 2.2. The root method was discovered by Birdman, the same developer who rooted 2.1 on the Droid X. More work of his as well as other incredible developers, can be found at AllDroid.org

Learn how to develop software for iPhone, iPad or Droid with Corona. In this tutorial Dr. Burton demonstrates how to create animation with the transition command. Very similar to Flash tweening, transition allows you to change any objects properties of a set period of time. The full tutorial can be viewed at www.burtonsmediagroup.com
