Disabling the Battery status display increases battery life.or so i heard.
@jietzer been using it since he released it, no reboots or forecloses (some apps will foreclose because it is not compatible with Android 2.1)

Are you looking to get a new phone? If so what do you recommend? How long do you think you’ll keep the G1?
if i already have the death spl and latest OTA radio on my mytouch and then do a full data and cache wipe to my phone, do i have to reinstall the spl and radio ?? or does it stay on my phone?

Why is everyone on here complaining about the battery life. If you are flashing roms on your g1, then you should know that it has very limited memory to run the high end roms. It’s a trade off. You shoud explain these things in your videos. Also explain battery managment through SetCpu app on battery power. These things are all very simple to us, but not the noobs.
Great rom, the battery life and the theme will need to by treaked a bit, but you can do that with the metamorph and setcpu apps. People on here complain about this and they expect the developers to make it just the way they want it. You should explain these things to the noobs in your videos so you won’t get so many complaints.
